A mantra is a motivating chant, like “I can do this” that you repeat to yourself typically at a stage in the race you find difficult. They are surprisingly powerful and distract your mind from fatigue and errant thoughts that may sabotage your performance. Below is a section to write down your mantra(s) for a particular race or discipline and we’ve also included some popular ones to get you started.
